Snowmageddon

The flakes are falling, but it's certainly no surprise; the last few days the reports have become more and more dire. I will say that probably they were conservative in their estimates. It looks like we may have well over two feet before it's all over. I went out around 8 to clear the walk and the driveway. Why? Who knows! I kind of enjoy shoveling, and we've had so much snow lately that it doesn't hurt particularly any more.

We've shopped for days, and we have plenty of food and pet supplies. Last night I went to the store for another load of stuff, fearing that my diet coke supply was insufficient. Plenty of diet coke, but little in the way of meat or produce, and there wasn't a loaf of bread to be had. I went again this morning just after the storm started, and picked up the rest of it--the store had restocked overnight.

Pink: "A white rabbit could get lost in the snow out there...." Oh, Pink, you know I'd outfit you in bright pink Uggs.

See you tomorrow with stitchy pictures if we don't lose the power!

Hey Glenna!
Funny comment you posted on my blog :)
Our power blinked several times and went out for about 10 minutes but came back on - thankfully.

Stay warm!

What a crazy, crazy winter we are having - what in the world! We have several inches of snow and for the past two hours it has been sleeting and sleeting. I have heard from one friend who has lost power and the estimate is to have it back on by Saturday midnite (sigh). I just keep praying that our power will stay on!

Stay safe and warm.

Been watching the reports on The Weather Channel. Sounds like you will be buried in snow. Hope your power stays on and you get lots of stitching done. Stay warm.

Thinking about all of you and hoping you're all warm, with power and cozy. I've got to go turn on the weather channel to see what you all got overnight. Like Cari said, this has been a crazy winter. Love the pic of your house with the snow flying! Keep the buns warm (and you too, of course) and be safe in this mess!

I'll be thinking of you in all the snow! Keeping my fingers crossed that your power stays on and you can enjoy the storm and stitch to your heart's content. And keep Pink safe inside! Pink Uggs would be sooo cute!

***sigh*** I am tired of winter. We are forecast yet another storm on Monday which might head your way again...be ready!

It's funny how we go for years with barely enough snow to say it's winter then we get seasons like this. I am SO ready for spring!

I hope you don't lose power! How bad would that be if you're snowed in and couldn't stitch! It has been a crazy winter for you! Stay warm and safe and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your power stays on.

I hope you don't lose power! Heck, I hope I don't lose power! I think we have about a foot here in PA, nothing close to what you guys are getting. A good day to stay in and stitch!
