Thunder on the Right

As always, a busy weekend. Lots of progress on various things though. First, Bine's RR, which is off to Wendy tomorrow. I didn't do a rabbit on this one, since Leslie did. I stitched the dog that came on the design; it looks like a nice dog that wouldn't chase a rabbit, doesn't it? School has started in earnest, and I've found and hired a tutor for the algebra and trigonometry class I'm taking, thank goodness. The assignments for that and the other course I'm taking are coming thick and fast and definitely getting in the way of stitching. But it's good stuff, and interesting, and both professors seem to be good people, which is a nice bonus.

Garden, week two. I planted a couple more things: a cherry tomato and another summer squash. We've had quite a few thundershowers over the last week, so we haven't had to water. In between, the sun's been nice and bright.

Here's today's thunderstorm brewing. They follow the path of the Potomac River, which is about three miles from here. Don't know if you can tell from the photo, but that sky is black, not blue.

Pink: "I'm not scared of the thunderstorm. I was just looking for one of my toys under this recliner."

Pink is one smart bunny boy! LOL! Last night here the thunderstorms were something else. One lightening strike made us all jump. Then Katie barked at it! Not sure what she was saying and not sure I want to know.

Hi Pink!!!

Come ON ... that thunderstorm picture is actually the cover of a puzzle box.

(I always enjoy seeing your banner picture of the brick arch and water pop up!)

I love your WIP's and Bines RR looks great! Your bunnies are adorable! Thunderstorms and stitching...so cozy! Good luck with your summer courses! I start mine this week, and I have to say there is not enough ttime to recouperate between sprin and summer semesters! I need more time, I need more time! ::sigh:: Oh well, it will be worth it when it's all done!

You know, if Pink had his own TV series, I would watch it faithfully.

That's a very cool picture with the dark, stormy sky. Neat. And I love your block on Bine's NRR!

I so feel your pain. My IT Security class just gave me my first melt down trying to understand cipher with pairs of Algorithms.Jeesh...second week out and I'm hating life already in this one. :( Good luck on your challenges.

Love the picture from your backyard, what a pretty green view! Cute round robin, all of the neighborhood groups are really coming along now.

Oh, thanks for the clever and nice (if late, ahem) treatment of my peonies! Actually I am surprised that the ants seem to be all gone by the time I cut them. We have another type of peony that is still not quite open, and the ants are on those buds.

Well? Did you find it?

Love how the RR came out. I know what you mean about school cutting into the stitching time. I don't think I've stitched in a month!
