I stitched on Catharine McNeal this week. The Before shot:
And After. I made it to the right hand inner border and I've started work on thistles #8 and #9 out of 20. I plan to stitch a lot on the Cape; my parents are in their 80s, so they're not up for lots of running around, although we'll probably go to the beach and to one of my favorite restaurants in Monument Beach, a seafood shack that has wonderful views of the salt marsh.
Yesterday I took my stitching buddy, Yazziebear, to the vet, for a checkup. Yazziebear is our old-lady cat.
Pink: "I thought I was your stitching buddy!" Note to Pink: my stitching buddies do not eat skeins of silk. Nor do they chew faster when I try to remove the strand of AVAS (green, appropriately) from their mouths!

At least Pink has good taste! Silk is way better than cotton. LOL!

Oh, yay that Audrey arrived so quickly! I know she's only a stuffed bunny but for some reason I always feel terrible about sealing her in a box and handing her over to strangers.
I'm kind of jealous that she gets to go to Cape Cod. I love the Cape - so many wonderful memories!

Yazziebear is a very gorgeous lady. But how did you train her *not* to eat your floss (silks or otherwise)? Does this mean I have two rabbits in disguise?

What a naughty Pink! My Mushroom (cat) used to chew on red floss if I left it within reach. I'm not sure what was the signifcance of the red.

Naughty Pink. He does have upper end taste though he wasn't going for the "cheap stuff". Glad he's okay. Your cat is beautiful. Catherine pinece is looking great so far.
Cats are weird. At least rabbits help clean up fitzels and un-needed yarn and such. (You Go Pink!)
