Before and After

Just a quick drive-by today, as I'm headed out on an antiquing jaunt with my sister and a friend. It's been a busy week. My biggest before and after is my job. I gave two weeks' notice on Thursday because I'm leaving Washington, DC and taking a job in Richmond, VA. Better commute, better quality of life, and a new position. I'm not moving--I live roughly half-way between the two cities. More later with pictures of "my" new city, and photos from my vacation between jobs on the Cape. Bunnygirl, maybe Audrey would like to fly back and join me on vacation and scouting expeditions now that I finally have something to show? Click on the link to see the fun that Audrey had on her vacation with Ann and Dan. Ghost towns! Eagles! Mesas!

Anyway, Before, Sarah McPhail:

After, Sarah McPhail:

Before, Elvis' hair-do:

After, Elvis. Elvis: "It's a miracle! I can see!"

Happy week ahead!

Glenna! Congrats on the new job in Richmond! I live right outside Richmond in a town called Ashland! I am also stitching Sarah McPhail! She is a looker! There are two guilds in Richmond, if you are interested....One EGA Chapter called Gentle Pursuits and the other, an independent Guild called the Virginia Guild of Needlewomen! We would love to have you visit us. -Holly

Congratulations on the move to a new (and better) job. We hope everything works out well. Change can be stressful, but if you don't have to move from your house, that should help!

And Elvis, what beautiful eyes you have!

All three are quite nice; much as I prefer stitching, I think I'm gonna have to pick the new job and new elvis-bangs as the "best" ones this week. :D

Elvis looks like he is enjoying his new 'do! I took Duffy to a new groomer yesterday & he's hiding out from all his friends till his hair grows out a bit. LOL Sarah looks great--you're really truckin' along! I hope the new job is all that you hope it to be.
