This view is from the family room into the kitchen. I sat on the floor and stitched on Meadow Hills in the sunlight while the men fussed around in the basement with radon detectors and CO2 gauges and whatnot.

And this is the house. I discovered that one of the bedrooms has a wonderful walk-in closet with its own window--perfect for storing all kinds of crafts and needlework and fabrics and yet being able to see what I'm looking for. My sewing/stitching room is the two windows over the garage.

Nice house Glenna! Congratulations!
Oh-ho, Glenna, this is a fabulous place! Well done! Your shopping around really did pay off.
Hey, I also really like this new project you're working on. Who designed this beauty?
Oh hon!!! What a lovely home! Congrats!
Love the house...and love gnocchi!
What a lovely house! I used to own a home with a window in the walk in closet - the closet was as large as a bathroom, and I thought it would be perfect, cute, stitching retreat (after taking out the shelving, of course)
What a nice house. You are so blessed. I noticed you are stitching "Meadow Hills". I think it will look great in your new home. I designed it. Do you have any suggestions for different designs. I'm planning my summer stitching and I have some things in the works but would always love to here what people like. Happy stitching
Love the house! Glad you had a chance to check out the stitching light ;-). Your new project is very cute so far.
Sorry, I'm a little late on reading this past week...
BUT that house is just like (I mean really) the one we sold this spring. Except it didn't have a basement....it's cute! Congrats!
I wandered my way over here from Michelle's (Cozy Egg) blog and had to comment on your new house. It is gorgeous!!! I adore the red shutters!
I want to move in, too!! ;)
Love your progress pics! Especially, the Season's Greetings one. Fabric color is yummy!
Great house!!!
