We Represent the Lollipop Guild

Normally I post on Sundays, but yesterday was busy, so here I am today, with a couple of new starts that arrived in the mail last week. Both are by The Essamplaire.

This one comes as a kit and is called "Elizabeth Easdon." Although it came with fabric, I swapped it out for Lakeside from my stash in 40 count examplar. I am using the AVAS shipped in the kit.

Doesn't this look like a lollipop vine? I'm enjoying the border. I wanted to stitch this because of all of the yellows and golds. This came as a chart only, and I kitted it up with 40 count Lakeside vintage strawflower and the called-for AVAS.

Pink likes to hang out under the recliner, so it's really important for us to lower the chair very s-l-o-w-l-y.

Happy week ahead, and many thanks, Erin, for finding the name of the Beatrix Potter chart I was looking for. I'm ordering it and will show it when it arrives.

Happy week ahead.

Pink reminds me of Bailey. The minute the recliner goes up he's under it and you have to remember that he's there.

Two great new pieces Glenna. I seriously need to stay away from your blog because it's so enabling.

I'm with Deb on that last one! You are definitely enabling me once again, Glenna! I love both your starts!

I cringed a bit looking at Pink under that recliner!

Oh Glenna!!! You've done it again! I want Elizabeth Easdon -- been trying to resist her. And here you go starting her! Argh! Love that border on Elizabeth Couper too! Argh! You are such an enabler!

Both are very pretty charts/WIPs! And here I thought you were doing something "Wizard of Oz"-ish by the title! Yup, they look like lollipops!

Yeah, I know that feeling. We have a cat who likes to get into the recliner. Guess they feel safe there, lol!

Tell Pink to pick a better place! Thinking of him under there will have me up, worrying, all night!

But at least I can hum the Lollipop Guild song in my best munchkin voice while the nighttime hours creep by. ;)

I love both of your new starts. The "lollipop" border is so bright and fun. Our dog Petey likes to lay underneath the raised foot part of the recliner. We are constantly reminding each other that he's under our chairs. He's not as little asPink to squeeze completely underneath.

Both Elizabeth's are gorgeous Glenna!! Great starts!! :)

P.S. I found another yellow house sampler w/no alphabet that I though was pretty...
