Down by the River

I felt inspired by my trip to the Rappahannock for pictures with Audrey (below) to take this out and work on it-Sarah McPhail from The Essamplaire. Still enjoying it, but I have such a huge rotation that it doesn't get out much.

Yesterday was a bit cooler, so I stopped by the Rappahannock River bank after doing my errands yesterday. Audrey posed on the camera bag since it was muddy--we'd had thunderstorms the night before.

And if you click on this picture you can see the friend that Audrey made. He had hauled himself out of the water and was sunning himself probably--a really good-size turtle.

Pink went for a little skittering run down the hall last night.

Happy week ahead!

Good morning, Glenna!

Your Sarah is looking soooo pretty! I'm just amazed at all the big samplers you are doing!

The pictures of the river are very nice - Cooling is the word I'm thinking of and we could all use that in this heat!

Pink expression seems to say "what's taking you so long? Catch up will ya?" ;-)

You stitching piece is just lovely Glenna...just lovely. And of course I love seeing the bunnies, especially Audrey! Wished it were getting cooler here, but that's a big wish for Florida. We won't see cooler weather until October. Oh well....I can stitch just fine in the A/C. Have a good week!

Pink is so cute, never get tired of seeing your furbabies, that is for sure. You have so many lovelies in progress, and always enjoy seeing them catch the sunlight again and get in some good stitches. Sarah is fabulous!!!

I like your new header Glenna. Sarah looks fabulous. I'm glad Audrey was able to get out to the river for a visit with her turtle friend.

I love your new header, and the expression on Pink's face in that pic. And yay for Audrey, getting out and making some friends. Did she challenge the turtle to a tortoise and hare race?

Love Love L-O-V-E Sarah!!!

Nice pics of Audrey out enjoying nature, too!

Those storms sure were doozies, though, weren't they? We had not had rain at my house in almost 3 weeks, I think... like we had been sucked into some sort of horrifying and bizartre rainless vortex. People 1 mile north, south, west, and east of us got rain, but not us. I'm so loving Mother Nature's watering can, lol!!

Have a great week!

Audrey is having such a good time with you! The new header is, of course, a huge hit around here. Aren't you tempted to put a runner in the hall for the bunnies? What a handsome guy PInk is with those mutton chops.

Don't get me wrong, I love the stitching part of your blog, but I love love love the pictures of your bunnies! They always make me smile.
You mention that you have a large rotation, so your individual pieces don't get out that much. How many pieces are in your rotation? Just curious about how you run your rotation... I am just starting my second year of rotation stitching and I love it!

wow. I need to stop looking at other people's needlework. Invariably it leads to placing an order! And your Sarah McPhail piece is to die for. So lovely! Such nice work! Don't forget the Purple Martins are migrating this week yet-- we saw about 15,000 birds at sunset/dusk at Shockoe Bottom Farmer's Market last night.

The two was not able to sneak out of their rabbit hutches Pink? Go hurry and do what you intend to do because somebody is watching you.
