A Tiskit a Tasket

...I've got plenty of room for a casket... Now if it would ever stop raining, I might be able to plant something in there. We added this recently; I want to pack it with flowers. Or maybe just lie down in it and have a long nap--I'm still burning the midnight oil on my school projects and studying for exams, which are next Saturday. And then it's over, and the first thing I will do is have a nice long nap, and then go to the nursery and shop for perennials. And stitch. By the way, Sotheby's stock is at 11.99 (up $2 from last week). Too bad I'm not being graded on the success of my stock pick rather than my explanation of how I did it and an analysis of the company's financials.

I allowed myself about 15 minutes a day and to see how far I'd get, and because I'm crazy about Blackbird Designs, I pulled this out of my stash: "Blessings and Kind Wishes." Not bad for just a bit here and there. I'm stitching on a 40 ct Lakeside of some sort, using the called-for GAST threads. It should be a fairly quick stitch.

Here are Peaches and Elvis having a snuggle. Everyone likes to snuggle with Elvis--what a fluffer! Happy week and have a nap for me!

Great progress on your B&KW! Hang in there--school will soon be over, and you'll be digging in your casket soon enough. ;)

Hang in there -- you're so close to the end of the school year! I keep telling my daughter that too, but she wants it to be done NOW! lol! Love your WIP -- and your bunnies. I don't blame the others for wanting to cuddle with Elvis. :D

I love B&KW and yours is looking great. A little stitching is better than none and a little adds up!!!
I love your casket garden bed and hope it blooms lots of pretties. I love a good nap, too and hope you're able to get a nice long one soon!

Great progress on the B&KW. Even with a little stitching you'll be surprised how much you can get done. And hang in there, the school year is almost over! And I do love your bunnies. They look so sweet!

I love the bunny snuggles! Hey I am with you on the rain. Been trying forever to get my morning glories, moonflowers and cardinal flowers planted!

You two look like a bird did a dance on you with ink on his feet!

I will like to see the flowers in there, and my more critical self wants to know how you will mow around it? Weed-Whacker?

Elvis keeps looking better and better! I just love how easily Peaches fit into your little family.

Good luck with finishing your school projects and studying. I was so glad to see those days end.

Well, if you want to recommend any stock picks to us poor mortals out here who're totally clueless about it ... ;)

That gravesite in your yard looks seriously ominious. I think if you were my neighbor, I'd take the long way around to my house. LOL!

Elvis looks like one of those guys that's always good for a cuddle. ;)

You are coming down the home stretch on school. What an accomplishment. Good choice on Sotheby's stock. Like you WIP. Your rabbits are too cute.

Nice that you're disciplined enough to take a little bit of time to stitch...that looks like a fun sampler! Good luck on the school work and exams. Sotheby's sounds like an excellent choice! Love to see your bunnies cuddling together and it's so nice to see how well Pink fit into your family dynamic.

I can't wait to see what you find to put in your "casket" :)

Ahhh.... spring in the DC area... gotta love her - fickle jade that she is! :) I got lucky and got my new stuff in just before we reverted to Noah's times - on that nearly 100 degree day... I swear I was bordering on heat stroke by the time I was done. I can't wait to see what you put in there! Good luck with your exams!!

Way to pick 'em, Glenna. Didn't PInk help just a little? Good luck with all that school work. You could just go lay down in the flower bed for a little nap...give the neighbors a start. Peaches looks quite blissed, Elvis must give good snuggles.

Your lawn is just perfect! My garden looks like the Argentinian pampas, tall grass and dandelions everywhere, and this morning I ripped off some ragwort that seems to be growing everywhere. I cannot let the buns out until that evil stuff has gone.
Do Elvis, Peaches and Pink ever get to help with the garden? :)

Hey Glenna, it does look like it's meant for a casket. Better get those flowers planted. I had to laugh at your comment about Tombstone. That's a funny little place, isn't it? I'm sure a lot of people picture Az as being still like that. Unfortunately, we don't have a pool in our backyard, but we have two very nice community pools right down the street. I spend my fair share of time there, too.
